Graduate of Tri-State College of Acupuncture, NY. Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine, which includes, Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, Tuina & Shiatsu, and dietary therapy. Doctorial Fellow, American College of Traditional Oriental Medicine. Completed internships in Acupuncture at Xuan Wu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing, China and Chinese Massage and Tui Na at the Beijing Massage Hospital for the Handicapped. Is an Eclectic Acupuncturist trained in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, KM Japanese Acupuncture and APM (Acupuncture Physical Medicine - Inspired by French and Japanese meridian styles of acupuncture, and the trigger point teachings of Dr. Janet Travlel, APM assessment and treatment takes as its basis a patient's actual, physical, lived experience of illness or distress. APM assessment of a patient focuses on palpation of the body for myofascial constrictions, "holding patterns." and Chinese and Japanese tight tender points, in order to learn how to navigate the body for areas of obstruction that can be released.)
